  1. Is it all organic produce?
You will find a wide variety of options on our site, and each item will list the farmer's growing method on the item description. You will find items that are grown using the following methods:

i. Conventional - Chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used to manage soil fertility and weeds and insects.

ii. Pesticide-Free - Our 'Pesticide-Free' farmers grow their products using organic growing methods, but they are not certified organic growers. This means that they use only organic pesticides and fertilizers if/when they need to do so.

iii. Certified Organic - These farmers have been USDA certified as organic growers. They adhere to rigorous standards of crop production, and minimally apply only certified, approved organic fertilizers and pesticides as needed.

  1. How do you choose the farms you source from?
Our farmers come to us looking for new markets, or wanting access to markets they have not been able to tap into. We provide them with marketing and distribution of their products, as well as education and support for their overall success.
