Adrian Evans, Mobile Market Coordinator, hails from Holly Springs, NC. The genesis of his love for food systems and agrarian culture was influenced by his mom, a naturopathic doctor, who was always cooking, growing, and appreciating quality whole foods. This influenced Adrian to pursue a degree in Agroecology & Sustainable Food Systems at NCSU. During his undergraduate studies he took on a couple of internships at various small-scale farms where he learned the nitty gritty details of sustainable farming practices and agribusiness on small farms.

After graduation in 2023 he took on a role as Assistant Manager of a market/community garden in Urban Southwest Raleigh. This role deepened his passion and desire to pursue a career in strengthening local food systems and addressing issues within the small-scale farming community.

Adrian now resides in Wilmington and works with the Mobile Market team to bring farm fresh food to the greater Wilmington community.
Adrian lives with his dog, two bunnies, and partner. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, botany, playing music, and more!
