Aman's Mini Farm
Richard Aman 1659 W. Darden Rd., Clinton, NC “We take pride in what we grow,” says Richard Aman of Aman’s Mini Farm. Located on 8 acres in Clinton, NC, the farm has been in the family since the late 1800s. Richard grew up on the farm that used to grow tobacco, cotton and corn. “I hate cotton” he chuckles. Now he grows vegetables: cabbage, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, jalapenos, green pepper, cauliflower, squash, zucchini, onions, collards, okra, and eggplant. He sells his produce at farmers markets. There is an old farm house on the property, now used for storage, that his great granddaddy built in the 1800s. Products: Summer vegetables Growing practices: Conventional |
